RunAlyzer - the newest addition to our tools section
News article

An autostart manager that's able to manage entries of inactive installations as well - especially when booting from a BartPE bootable Windows CD - was something missing so far. In cooperation with German computer magazine c't for the Emergency CD in their new issue 18/2005, we've written RunAlyzer, a configuration utility able to manage autorun entries, including WinLogon and some other rare ones, as well as system services, scheduled tasks, BHOs, DPFs, toolbars, a bunch of other Internet or Windows Explorer related stuff, and listing LSPs. And since modern autostart managers have to list a huge amount of data, we've implemented another feature: we've included a database that knows entries made by threats that are also identified by Spybot-S&D flagging them as bad, and it knows a bunch of default Windows entries automatically flagging them as good, leaving you a much smaller amount of entries to deal with than usual autostart managers.

Currently, RunAlyzer is available only on the CD shipped with c't issue 18/05, but stay tuned for another release with additional features on our website!
